I'm not offended by his lying, it's just a discussion to me. Seals do seem too have more chest thumpers than other sf types and I don't think Kyle was held in very high esteem by his fellow Seals, even before he was killed. I think the crux of the discussion is that if he lied about these things, and they weren't little white lies, how can anything else he claimed be credible?

Kyle is a piece of shite for claiming he executed United States citizens without a trail simply for looting. This claim is so unamerican that it taints anything he previously accomplished.

Isn't him pretending to be Rambo in the book as well? Basically he tells a story about getting deployed and coming across a group of protestors while leaving with baby killer written on the signs. It's pretty much a paraphrased story from First Blood where Rambo talks about coming home and seeing maggots with baby killer signs. No one could verify this one either. Dude was full of shite.
I think there was something he talked about covering up finding chemical weapons so we didn't embarrass some other country. Don't really remember that one.
