Yep, I eat fried chicken maybe twice a year, went to Popeyes last week for a box of spicy, said it would be a 15 minute wait. I waited, but I gave them a dirty look damnit.

To have chicken sitting ready for every order would cause a lot of waste. Can they do better? Sure. Not as fast as you want it though.
