My grandparents bought me one every Christmas, different design every year. So cool and they all lit up. Spent a lot of time in NJ during my youth so always had those Hess stations around, just couldn’t pump your own gas

I actually had the Hess Christmas trucks when I was a kid in the early 70s. I have to give it to my mom, the commercials I saw were on a TV station in a city about 60 minutes away and there wasn't a single Hess station in our city so every year she would drive the 2-hour round trip to get the one for that year.
This tanker is similar to the first one I got though this one was from 1990.
