You run 80 in the summer when towing heavy?

Chevy 2500 run 60psi all around.

Yes. 80psi in the rear, 60 psi in the front right and 63 psi in the front left. I did a lot of playing around with that to figure out where it would track the straightest on my usual commute.
And heavy is relative. If it isn't something with a lot of tongue weight I keep 60 in the rear.

You running air or nitrogen?
Air and I adjust my pressures early in the morning before the sun gets on the tires. When I get my tires rotated the GMC dealer puts the rear at about 75 psi. Prior to taking a trip pulling my trailer I bump the rear PSI's to 80.
For some of the other posters my truck does not squat when pulling the trailer.

OK.
Under-inflation is worse than anything, of course, but I just run recommended, especially in the summer, even in the RV. 120 front, 110 in the rears.

Care to explain why? You know that the air we breathe is 78% nitrogen don’t you?
The whole nitrogen fill scam is the most head scratching of the automotive world.

And I bet 78% of the air in your tire stayed.

You know that Nitrogen does also leak out of the microscopic passages in rubber so you still have to have the pressure checked every so often.
Keep having to drive into town and paying a premium for simple tire pressure adjustments.
I’ll keep just checking mine every couple of months and filling for free.

Using regular air is like drinking tap water.
