No, I want to be the optimum weight that doctors say a person my size should be to reduce risk of negative health side effects.

but in reality "overweight" has become the American "average".

No question about that - the average adult BMI is 26.5 (women) and 26.6 (men). And that is not because everyone is crossfitting and amateur bodybuilding. It's because physical effort is largely voluntary for most Americans and we're drowning in calorie dense food choices. It's just a consequence of success.

So, the AVERAGE American adult is slightly overweight. A significant plurality are obese (pushing 40%) and 1 in 5 have a BMI over 40 -

Almost 70% of American adults are to the right of the light green (normal) figure, BMI-wise:

No, no you dont. You are bordering on the skinny side already

Ratio of waist to height at .5 is "perfect". You are skinny at .45

I'm not sure she's right in this.

What is the SI cover for? Is it for promoting health or promoting beauty and sex?

Because plenty of thick girls are attractive. The girl they chose for the cover is crazy hot. No way I'm turning that down ever in a million years.

But it is unhealthy. That kind of obesity can lead to multiple health issues, an early death, fatigue, low libido, medical costs....

I never said those SI Swimsuit models dont have curves

Now you're just making shite up to try to prove your point. I clearly said not all thick chicks have a gut and that I like my women to have curves and not look like little boys. I never once said I like fat chicks.

No, you like fatties. The "boy" comment is stupid and is a product of your shame in liking fat women.

No doctor worth a shite uses your charts anymore. People carry weight differently. The size of your waist to your height is a far better way to view your health

Bunch of fatasses and chubby chasers in this thread

To those who think "thick is beautiful", you are perpetuating a severely unhealthy trend in America that is sky rocketing health care cost in this country.

Eat a fricking salad and walk it off fatty.

Is it not though?

Kim Kardashian in her prime - is she ugly? What about the current state of Tiffany Amber Thiesen? Is she not beautiful even with the extra weight?

They have huge ranges of weight in each height

The size of my waist should be 32" like it was when I was 15 lbs light at 6'2" 175 lbs for years. I got married and lazy and I'm just now working it off.

No it shouldnt. A 32" waist is perfect for someone 5'4" At 6'2" the "perfect" waist would be 37"

Because he specifically named his waist size. That is the single most important factor. If you are ripped and muscular you should still maintain a slim waist and mid-section
