We're not sure. What my husband keyed in on was the color scheme and the triangle at the top. It was one of the divisions under Patton

And now we know: 8th.
My husband went on a search this morning and matched things his parents had told him with where the 8th was (and when).

He’s still kickin, on oxygen 24/7 though. Had to stop going to LSU games this year.
He wasn’t in the service though, he wanted to be in the military so bad but his asthma was too bad.
