Sav-More Grocery on Nicholson (North Gates) has great hot-sausage po-boys made with Patton's patties. Best part is they're dirt cheap! There was no foot-long or six-inch, it was either a whole loaf of french bread or half a loaf (for like $3.50)!!!

for a year in college i lived a block away and never ordered th hot sausage

Dude, your Dicky Lyons obsession is great. If you ever talk to him ask him about the time his dad had to replace the tv at Belle Terre Country Club. You'll get a kick out of that.

For the Bluegrass Miracle? I know all about it.

And I'm not obsessed.

I don't remember how I even heard about it in the first place, but that place was the best. It was a little intimidating the first time you went in, but I couldn't tell you how many times the big, cheap-arse sandwiches provided both lunch AND dinner at our apartment!

Armond's vs. Jeanfreau's - Armond's(2 blocks from the house)

Armond's is by far the best roast beef in the entire world. My brother almost married the owner's daughter back in the day so I always get free shite. They re-opened in Slidell on Gauze, I have some in my freezer right now... with garlic of course.

I gotta go with ya on this one. I used to go get a club sandwich and a bottle of Barque's Rootbeer just about every Saturday for lunch.
