I 100% agree. And yes, the salary and expenses make me angry, but obviously there was some level of fraud with that much money going to a contractor who did very little work. However, I imagine there was horrible record-keeping so who knows what can be proven legally. In the end the only people who may be made right off this will be the lawyers.

I LOVE how Brian Bordainick put it nicely.
"community dynamics got in the way"
He's the good teacher who envisioned and kicked off the project only to let the locals run it into the ground while paying themselves a small fortune.

My favorite part is when they announced Washington's salary at the community meeting and it drew gasp from the crowd, she went into defense mode saying she is worth way more than that because she has 3 degrees.
