St Maarten.

St Thomas.

Antigua.

St Lucia.

St Kitts

Pick 3.

Trying to figure out where to go, might as well find out from some people who have been there.

You can easily do St Maarten, Anguilla, and St Barths.

Anguilla and St Barths are less than an hour by Ferry from St Maarten.

St Maarten is great and the jets landing at (damn near on) the beach is an experience.

St Thomas is nice but the real gem for it is taking the ferry to St John which is nearly pristine and the shite. A must.

St Lucia next. Not much topside but the diving is primo.

You can find a condo/apt on VRBO or Homeaway pretty reasonable for all of the caribbean. Don't waste your time with resorts.

There are distinct parts of st Maarten. Explore both.
Utilize as many ferries as possible to maximize exposure.

Might just do a cruise that goes to at least a couple of the islands. Easier to coordinate travel that way. Then next time we know for sure where we want to go and stay awhile.

Any websites better than priceline and the such for cruises? Or are they pretty much all the same?

But then you are stuck on a ship when you could be exploring the islands.

You can leave the ship when it's port...yeah 9 hours isn't a ton of time, but it's enough to get an impression.

Then next vacation we would go back to the island we liked the most to stay for a week or 2.

This summer went on cruise out of Sam Juan - visited St Thomas, Barbados, St Lucia, St Kitts and St Maarten. Would do again, sailed at night and woke up at new island every morning. Got off boat at 7am and did whatever wanted all day. Not sure I would want to wander some of the islands after dark.

I woudk recommend any or all of the islands. If you want check carnival leaving out of San Juan. I have done that crusie twice and it goes to st Thomas kitts marteen Barbados and st Lucia. I loved all of these islands. We went snokel ing w the sea turtles and it turned into a booze cruise.

I guess. I'm just not a big fan of cruises tbh. I'd do like another poster mentioned and go to St Maarten and take ferries to the other islands. Then you can go when you want where you want at your leisure instead of on the cruise ship's schedule.

St. Barths. I't like going to the French Riviera without the jet lag.
