I got to drive a friends older viper acr at NOLA Motorsports. I love it as a track car.

Viper is like a purpose built race car. Entire V10 engine completely sits behind the front axle. (Front-Midship)

The Viper is actually much faster than the Z06. Plus, on a road course, the Z06 would over heat after a few hot laps.

my buddy in Miami has one being built now. They are built by hand and even painted by hand. They have been sending him pics all along of the progress. His is a 1 to 1, every option hand picked, painted to sample. His will be different as it will have a radio.

Yeah. Just as a reference (and for the Z06 guy above), the new Z06 ran Road Atlanta in 1:29.81 to the Viper ACR's 1:26.54.
That's fast as hell.
