Is there a compound I can buy that removes the marks made on your car when someone opens their door into yours. There is no dent but there is a white scuff looking mark that I would like to remove. Any ideas? Thanks.

A little rubbing alcohol and a bit of elbow grease might work for that. Got a similar green mark out of a white car that way.

Magic eraser removes scuffs real well.

Rubbing compound followed up with some wax.

I'd be VERY careful about using this method. Magic erasers are micro-abrasive (think very fine sandpaper).

Use goof off followed by a good wax

Nufinish has enough solvent in it to remove someone else's paint mark from your door.

Try Meguiar’s ScratchX—good product. Then apply wax over the spot.

A mixture of turpentine, acetone, and benzene.
I call it "the dip".

I need to get two door dents out. I haven’t gotten an estimate. Is that expensive?
