The best product I've found is Hose A from Home Depot.

I just coated my car myself with Ethos Graphene Coating and I am extremely happy with the results. I put a lot of prep work into it and I understand why places charge so much to do it now.

Tell me more. How hard was it to apply? I have been observing and am tempted.

I use a combo of Jescar Powerlock followed by Collonite. Has served me very well. There are many reviews including Pan the Organizer or Obsessed Garage.

I know that you are asking about was, but throw away Armor All and get 303. You will thank me later.

I am about to sound like an Ethos sales rep

Pretty easy. The prep is what takes long and the waiting. You just have to be patient and meticulous.

My process...

I washed my car then used Iron X to remove iron.

I then did a clay bar on the whole car. I used a Mother Clay Bar and Ethos Detail spray for lube.

I then did a hand polish on the whole car with Adam's Hand Polish and there Blue polishing pad.

I then used Ethos Detox to remove all residue left from the polish.

THEN I did the coating.

I worked in small sections. With the Ethos Graphene you apply with the applicator then it starts to get a rainbow effect the starts to get hazy.

The SECOND it starts to get hazy I used two microfiber towels, the first one to wipe off about 80% of the product the second one to buff off the rest. Then you move on to the next section. You don't want to leave high spots. For me it was 2-3 minutes before I had to wipe off.

I bought a big pack of microfiber towels from Costco and used two for each section of the car.

One hour later I did a second coat.

I watched Ethos own videos about how to apply it and a video by Apex Detail on how he applied it. Very helpful stuff.

You don't HAVE to do all the steps I did but the better your prep the better the results.

Can't get the vehicle wet for 48 hours.

Ethos said the coating would get glossier as it cures over a 5 day period and they were right. My car got very noticeably glossier.

Super happy with it, and as kind of a bonus now if the car is only lightly dirty and can use Ethos Defy spray and a few microfiber towels to essentially wash and polish the car at the same time without breaking out the pressure washer, buckets, etc...

Without a doubt!! They came out with a new and improved formula that smells better and doesn't streak as bad. I use this paired with the TW Ice Spray Wax for maintenance washes and for less than $25 you can't be this pair.

I buy Wolfgang products from that site and have been very pleased

Same, Wolfgang Uber Compound, Uber Polish and Uber Sealant. Heavy cut with an orange ccs pad and work my way down. Takes a solid day every year but it will 100% look better than the day it was painted.
