Are you some long haul trucker or some tour band groupie? When was the last time you drove a car 8 or 12 hours. I don't think I've done that since college, over a decade ago. If I need to drive that far I'm flying, and if I was driving for some reason I'd just rent a car.

This comes from someone who's never owned or driven an electric car, but their ranges these days are the last thing keeping me from buying one.
