As dumb a topic as it is, I'll admit I've thought the same thing and wondered why in the hell people take selfies in their cars.

Because the car provides them with just the right angle so they can get those ‘accidental’ cleavage shots in there.

It really does make for the most flattering lighting. Indirect but plentiful, vs overhead and harsh like you get without having something above you.

But then you end up with a dumb picture in your car. So there’s that.
