I'd love to hear this explanation

Unless you are recommending he go with one of the budget carriers like the poor people use.

These plans are just to account for people who want the new model each time there is a new model.

I'm so glad I have a work phone and haven't paid a phone bill in like 6 years. They also replace my shite every 3 months because that's about as long as I can go before I break it.

but yet the bill never went down once the 2 year contract was up or I bought a phone under the next plan. It's all a ripoff.

BS. AT&T doesn't allow them even when you do get an AT&T phone. Blackberry made wifi calling available on BBM for the last four years..... but AT&T disabled it.

Haha. Of course it won't work on a blackberry. Lol. Wi-Fi calling definitely works on most new AT&t branded flagship phones, though. And HD Voice has been working for years now (but again, probably not on your blackberry, but what do you expect?).

But Wi-Fi calling and HD Voice definitely do not work on my brand new unlocked Galaxy S8. And on my unlocked HTC 10, HD Voice used to work, but no longer does and Wi-Fi calling never worked.
