re: Came across this quote today related to teenagers and their dads

One of my favorites is one I think I first saw on here actually. It was people talking about how boys/teens want to fight their dads when they get mad, and he said his dad told him this once…something like: “Son, just know that if you ever want to kick my arse, you won’t be able to. And by the time you’ll be able to, you won’t want to anymore.”
