To each his own, but I vehemently disagree .

Are you on crack?
So this monstrosity

Looking like a minivan trying to emerge out of its cocoon, looks better than

THIS?

Name one category the odyssey is better in.

Maybe it's a personal thing but the first time I saw a new odyssey I thought it was ugly as sin.

I know the Acadias used to be pieces of crap. Everyone I knew that had them loved them when they were running but it stayed in the shop with low mileage. Kia and Hyundais have definitely stepped up their game but I would still likely end up in a Honda Pilot in that category.

do you think it's enough space for traveling with two kids in car seats that need a stroller?

Honda
Odessey

Unless you can find a Sienna with a v6 used.

Ran to Houston in my Honda.

28.5 mpgs and I had eco mode off.

Sliding doors are made for parking garages and kids.

Drivabilility and acceleration.

For.me Kias drive by wire was wierd and felt janky.

Kia also felt cheaper than me. Wife said she felt like she was driving a matchbox.

They are nice enough though. Im not mad at em.

If Sienna still had the V6 id have bought that.

Ended up with a Odessey.

The new pilots are much larger and are very nice and drove sporty with a lot of acceleration.

Cargo space and traveling won the day with the ability to throw our icechest and chairs in and take off.

You want a honda pilot. We've had 3 over the last 15 years. Several hundred thousand miles. 2 grown kids and a dog. Has third row when needed and enough cargo room. We even got a roof bag for when we pack irresponsibly, but dont use it much. Great car.

This for sure. We may disagree on which one is best, but the essence of them all is what makes them the superior family vehicle.

See, when I drove an odyssey it felt clunky and oversized.

I liked the tightness and the turn radius of the Carnival. What really won me over was the adaptability of the middle row. The way the middle (removable) seat can be staggered, I really like.

And like I said before the safety suite I'm all about. Safe is sexy. I'll have teen drivers before long and I want every ounce of prevention I can get.

I guess a lot of your choice of...van is just up to personal taste. And price.

Odyssey just didn't move the needle for me

Sure I get it. The Kia was my first choice. Wife has to drive it she she felt a little more nimble and she liked how the middle seat could slide side to side for the back row passenger access and legs. My kids are really tall.

Like I said I'm not mad at them and they look to be a really solid choice

I really like the Sienna until 2021, when they transitioned to a hybrid model. I do not believe you can get a 6-cylinder gas engine from 2021 on.

Along with forcing a hybrid, they reduced the height and width. I would not completely dismiss a hybrid if I were buying new, but I would be an unlikely buyer of a used version if I could get a gas engine in another make and model.
