I understand, just by definition it's not what was intended with business casual when discerning it from casual. We have people show up on casual Friday's looking like they are about to paint or work in the yard.

And i'm not saying jeans are dressy, like nice jeans or anything, but they're not so out of style that only Garth brooks in whatever year can wear black jeans

I don't own jeans. And no, not intended to laugh at you. Just people that wear jeans as dress up and look down on those who wear them as intended, dress down.

Nobody said jeans were dressing up

I make fun of festus for saying dress jeans

But on casual Friday, I've noticed some guys wearing black or dark gray jeans and they don't look out of style

And jeans and tennis shoes do not go together
