Report: Baton Rouge man holds would-be burglar at gunpoint, broadcasts incident on Facebook until police arrive

A Baton Rouge homeowner held a man he caught trying to break into his house at gunpoint and broadcast the incident on Facebook live until the police arrived Wednesday, according to a WBRZ report.
Caesar Ray said he was working on his home that flooded when he heard his daughter's car alarm go off. Around the same time, a neighbor called to let Ray know she saw a man mulling around their house.
Ray, who told WBRZ he's worked in law enforcement, ran into the man as he was breaking the screen off of a window in front of the house, identified as 18-year-old Roberto Garcia, held him at gunpoint, handcuffed him and made sure he stayed put until police arrived.
Someone buy that man a beer.

Good job by that man. Deserves nothing but the best by the way he handled that.

Was that criminal retarded? All he had to do was turn his back and run and he would have been in the clear in the event of any shots being fired.

In Texas shooting in the back is justified at night if you are protecting yourself or your property. Louisiana doesn't have the same type of law?
