Buckingham Palace armed police attacked by US tourist

For some reason I hear Rowan Atkinson's voice when I read the judge's statement.

"The attacker then pulled the two officers to their feet in "an extraordinary display of strength," prosecutor Henry Fitch said, before punching PC Collins again."
"District Judge Margot Coleman said: "It was a fierce assault and it appeared to the officer at the time that you tried to go for his Taser gun. Who could have anticipated where that might have led?"
"The fact that you were intoxicated at the time makes you the author of your own misfortunes, it does not diminish the offence in any way, if anything it aggravates it."

Buckingham Palace was one of the biggest disappointments while I was in the UK. You don't get anywhere close, and it has tons of people lined at the gate gawking. Nothing happens and they don't have the people you see on the movies. There is like one dude who roams 15 ft. Then you have the cranky police who just stand there.

We didnt plan on doing the tour anyways. We saved money for other things to do the 3 weeks we were there. Wife is from there (UK) originally. Hopefully going back over there soon. Preferably without the children this time.
