That’s not true. Everybody is issued Dress Blues upon graduation of boot camp.
Since like 2009. I graduated recruit training in 06 without issue, didn't buy them until 08.

I didn’t know that it used to be like that. Glad they started the practice of getting them for everybody. As a boot, there’d be no way I would buy Dress Blues voluntarily though only to wear them once a year at the ball.

TigerFan you’ve heard of me right?
Back a brother up.

Yep. Used to be pickle suit if you didn't have blues. Funny the only time service Alphas called pickle suit was generally used in reference to the ball then. Besides that it was always - check in and out in Alphas.
Yeah I saved the money from boot, didn't want to buy blues when I only had a few grand from 3 months.

I normally give zero fricks about this board or what people believe but this is bothering me in an irrational manner

Like I said I don't care what you were, I've always gotten along with you great before this post but you said silly stuff. It is what it is and it's over, SF

Yeah, you and I emailed back and forth before I went to boot camp circa 2013. I’ve only read through page six of this thread though so I’m a bit behind on whatever you’re in an argument about.
But to whomever you’re arguing with,
and fire PM.

It was me the last 5 pages. He just didn't answer me how I expected. Like I said , no big deal.

Fair enough. It’s the OT. I don’t put a lot of thought or substance into 90% of my posts and don’t gear them towards military folks because most people here don’t understand our language. I was a SSgt though goddammit!!!

EAS in May but I may stay in for a year in the IRR, I was selected to deploy with a sister company to augment their numbers. They needed an 0341 corporal billet and I fit it. Hoping it’s for real and I get to actually go and do my job at least one time while being in. Other than that, same old shite with new faces. Ready to drop pack though, ready to move on.

Big supporter of the military except when they pull shite like that. It should be the Bride and Grooms most special day of their lives and this douche wears a military uniform.

Not if the NJP occurs during your first enlistment.

Well, he most definitely was a SSgt. in the USMC, one of my Company SNCOs went to Iraq with him and talked about him a few times. So he definitely was a SSgt.
As to how his uniforms looked, couldn’t tell ya, never seen em on him.
