As you will see in my posts, I respond in kind. Go read posts to which I replied. And you just did what you accused me of doing.

Glad to see this argument is still carrying on.

I'm late in this thread. But I for one am glad she took it down.. What's the point of the Confederate flag, the country lasted what maybe 6 years or so, and that was 150 years ago..The South South lost the war, yet for some reason many people cannot accept this fact

Once you realize that most people who have a problem with what she did do so because they are against government overreach and people from other areas of the country dictating what we can and cannot do(states rights) , you will have a much better understanding of the situation ....... If it were any other type of flag I would feel the same way

It's the principle of it. And honestly, if you cannot see the big picture I don't feel like holding your hand to walk you through the logic.
I will give you this though: it's not about celebrating or promoting slavery and/or hate.

Lol. You are so fricking naive. This woman is an activist. Most likely a paid activist. I guarantee you she was fricking thrilled to death when those poor people were killed and even more thrilled when she found out it was a white boy who liked the confederate flag.

Shhhh that's too much reason for Mr. Tangerine. Now I'll sit back and be called a racist for the next 5 pages

I say BS on this...based on you posts in this thread, you need to turn in your "conservative card"!

Uh, okay. People making racial comments about her, calling her names, saying she should have been shot. Right no one is worked up at all.
You seem to be the one "worked up" over a piece of cloth.

Props to her for removing that piece of shite flag.

Yes props to her because it will change everything for black people. Let's see how many dozen get shot in Chicago this weekend without any of them giving one frick.

That's not why she removed it. Your commment is a straw man.

This is my biggest problem with the social media driven faux outrage. After Michael Brown gets shot, someone who had committed aggravated robbery minutes before, there are marches that shut down the highways and prevent people from getting to work. Yet months earlier, a two year old gets killed in a gang-related drive by, along with 200+ other murders, and nobody cares

Isn't it still the states right to take it down? Pretty sure it is. Feds can only suggest, but they haven't threatened any penalty if they don't comply. How does your life change if the state decides to take it down? Why is this flag such a big deal to those that are not emotionally affected by it?

If only her great great great great great grandmother had fought as hard not to be enslaved by her fellow black African, she wouldn't be in South Carolina to begin with.
