He's probably exaggerating a bit, but not by much.
We played a game last year on a field that i shite you not was completely covered in pickers. there was no grass. it was dirt and pickers. There's like 25 fields out there and they chose to not move and play on one of the other 20 available fields and stayed on a field that was in horrible condition.
Any time a kid went to the ground they were pulling pickers out of their hands or wherever else touched the ground.
It was pathetic, and embarrassing. Burbank soccer fields are hands down the shittiest fields in the area. Every park in New Orleans, northshore, lafayette, and Lake Charles are a lot nicer. We're lucky to have working bathrooms that don't have shite smeared all over the place. That entire complex is an embarrassment to BREC.

I took my daughter to the bathroom recently (next to the Pavilion) and the seat had been ripped off the toilet. So I wouldn't call that working facilities. It's all bad.

Love this thread. Its a shite organization. I dont know why we keep sending money to it for our daughter. Pulled our son out of it. Daughter is finally saying shes had enough.
On top of all the shite mentioned, the way they schedule shite blows my mind. All ages co-ed scrimmages? What? How does it benefit my 9 year old daughter to stand around while 12 year old boys just dominate the field?
That organization needs to go away and the soccer facility needs to be taken over by the new city and actually be run well for it to compete with other comparable parks. It is just an embarrassment all around.

Tell them to fix their field conditions of holes and stickers. They host president cup and the fields are goat ranches

America in 2025 is the land of too many chiefs and not enough indians. The cost to get rid of the stickers, level the field, and plant a different type of grass is minimal. Ranchers do it all the time.
