I have no clue how many murders we've had this year. It used to be on the Advocate but I can't find it anymore.

BRPD has handled 57 homicides so far this year. That includes murders, justified homicides, and negligent homicides.
Last year, BRPD didn’t hit 57 homicides until November.

New Orleans was at like 90 halfway through the year. Up nearly 40% year over year.

Very good idea.
This is an election year. The talking points for some of the more critical issues facing voters need to be fresh on all of our minds.
And it doesn’t hurt that they will be readily available for the others that use this site as a source of intel.
