mine only showed his herding instinct once in the whole time I had him. 2 kids were playing with him and they ran different directions. He tried to put them back together

Never tried anything with the horses, thankfully.

We've always had borders in our family. Great dogs, but very high energy. We got them to understand that being inside the house relax time and outside the house you can run all day. Do have to find a way to keep them busy. Favorite dog breed I have ever been around.
