I’m sure they’re fine. The biggest problem with having them is if you have to tell people you have them.
Kind of like Geico or Go Auto.
Lol, whatever. I tell everyone what I have. They are the dumb ones if they don't realize it's a good deal.

There are 4 networks and 2 different technologies in the US. Verizon, sprint (CDMA) AT&T, T-Mobile (GSM). All the carriers use one or a combination of these networks. It is determined by the handset. I know cricket is owned by AT&T and Boost is owned by Sprint. Straight Talk is actually owned by Tracfone and uses all carrier networks. If you want your Verizon coverage then take your Verizon phone to them. The customer service and handset selection and pricing may be different but the networks are the same.

I love GEICO. And apparently will soon love Cricket too.

These are all what are known as MVNOs (mobile virtual network operators). They do not own their own networks; instead, they operate on one (or more) of the major carriers' network. Check this list to see who uses what, but most are AT&T, Verizon and T-mobile.

GEICO is not a discount carrier. Nowhere close to whatever the hell Go Auto is......or "the General." They are one of the majors and they, in my experience, are better than SF, Allstate and Progressive.
