They typically do registration checkpoints in my area. That’s a legitimate check though, because that little sticker on your car tag can cost $1000 per year if you have a new car.

Unfortunately, under the proposed law, people living in EPA zones in LA will still need to get the damn things.

id rather cops check for all that stuff when they have someone pulled over for a legitimate reason. checkpoints are just an OT racket
