I just got back from an OCONUS trip. I’ll probably start putting some apps together while I’m home.

probably's arse man, get on it! now is the time, some of the guys at the upper end of the list are hitting 5 bills now and we're going to lose almost 60% of the list over the next 5-6 years, all of big three are in that boat

Actually, that part of his comment is right and is exactly the reason why Boeing implemented this system.

Except, the Air France flight didn't nosedive. It hit the water at a normal flight attitude. The pilot kept nosing up due to alarms and misunderstanding, losing airspeed until the plane literally dropped out of the sky. That's why the Boeing system automatically decreases pitch.

bullshite!, again, let them make the call, just ran into a guy that interviewed and was turned down about six months ago, they called him back(because the pool is drying up and he was an awesome candidate,) and hired him, I've been in this racket a long time and have even been involved the recruitment/interview process and I've seen every imaginable route to get here, again, let them make the call, the only given is that if you do not apply you won't have a shot

Also the co Capt was pulling up on the nose slightly causing a stall. By the time they realized it was to late

no, it isn't, don't have too much time to go into it, but in short, iced pitot probes, incorrect recognition of problem, and erroneous inputs by FO & FB, also, airbus(as well as a lot of swept wing jets,) don't necessarily have a pitch break when the wing stalls, they sort of did a tail slide and pancaked in a very flat impact

Air France crashed at night due to faulty airspeed indicator and the co pilot pulling back on the stick unbeknownst to the pilot in command
