Lastly, why are tasers not used more? Lot's of recent incidents I feel could be solved with a taser rather than a gun? (ignorance for lack of knowledge..)

Sorry but you’re full of shite.
That was textbook incredible training and he saved pink girl’s life identifying a threat and stopping it in 3/4 seconds.

Taser aren’t as effective. Harder to aim and even if direct hit, may not be instant. Let’s say cop used taser, and the girl still gets stab, attorneys would jump on that and PD and City would write a big check. U meet lethal force with lethal force. u don’t pull out non-lethal against lethal.

He could have tasered her. The girl in pink would have a 6 inch knife blade in her neck.

Fights are common, I can agree with that. There were fights all the time in my high school. Many of them also happened off campus.
You want to know what was not common, someone pulling out a knife. A knife is a deadly weapon. It can kill someone. People getting into a fight to kill the other person is not common at all. That's why girl in the pink ran away until she was cornered against the car. If it wasn't for the cop, she would be having a very bad day right now.

I’m no cop fan but those poor frickers cannot win. If she didn’t shoot they’d be saying the cops let her stab that girl.
