The properties of colors and pigments have always interested me. If you want the opposite of absorbing heat but still have a dark color get the YInMn Blue option:
quote:
YInMn Blue is chemically stable, does not fade, and is non-toxic. It is more durable than alternative blue pigments such as ultramarineor Prussian blue, retaining its vibrant color in oil and water, and is safer than cobalt blue, which is a suspected carcinogen and can cause cobalt poisoning. Moreover, infraredradiation is strongly reflected by YInMn Blue, which makes this pigment suitable for energy-saving cool coatings.[8] It can be prepared by heating the oxides of the elements yttrium, indium, and manganese to a temperature of approximately 1,200 °C (2,200 °F).[9]

I'd rather it in Vanna White.
Wow. That photo´s killed my obsession with her. Legs and inner thighs, ooooh baby. That face? Oh, what a letdown.

I have no idea what they are talking about. True Vantablack is not something you can touch without ruining the finish. A normal use for it would be for reduction in reflective light in A high dollar camera lens.

There’s no way a company like BMW would use a ploy like that to sell more cars so obviously it is true, real, vantablack.
