Consider a $1 ante game. Everyone antes and there is now $9 in the pot before anyone acts. Now consider a $1/$2 blind game. There is only $3 in the pot before anyone acts. It's a huge difference. Ante games are juicy AF.

Because blinds are a large part of the strategy in the game. You play differently in the blinds.
