I doubt someone as dedicated as bin laden would have spilled his guts for us.
Come on
Do you even waterboard?
Anyway KSM, spilled his guts earlier and he was the one who planned 9/11. Therefore, OBL had no use to the gov alive.

Capturing him would have been a political and legal disaster.

Yes.
Plus numerous kidnappings with the goal to release OBL.

You people are retarded.
He died in the raid. Why does everything have to be some government conspiracy? This isn't Wag The Dog.
The SEALs who were part of the mission have even released details. OBL wasn't going to be taken alive and capturing him would've been an even worse antagonistic move with our middle east relations. They wouldve kidnapped Americans left and right demanding he be released, which he wouldn't be, which would mean dead Americans.
He was a figurehead at the end anyway. He wasn't at the top strategic planning role of Al Quaeda anymore in his old, failing condition.
TIN FOIL HATS

Why in the hell are you replying to my post??
I believe he was killed in that raid, no if's ands or buts.
Yes, I agree with your opinion concerning the tin foilers.

You pump someone full of enough mind benders, hallucinogens, uppers, downers, sleep deprivation, force feeding and then starvation, cold, sensory overexposure....you either crack them or kill them.
You act like Osama would just be sitting their legs crossed smoking a cigar, shooting the shite. Most idiotic thing I have ever heard.

No.
Trying to convince people that raid and killing was fake is the most idiotic thing ever heard.
He was an decrepit motherfricker that did nothing with Al Quaeda except act as figurehead anymore. He would die before being caught and would most likely die from any sort of combat wound.

Uh, I was replying to Jones about how torture and drugs would work.
Nothing to do with a "fake raid". Calm your tits this morning Caterpillar.

Torture and drugs wouldn't work on him IMO.
He was in failing health so they wouldn't be able to push it too hard and he was a complete psychopath that I don't think would break. Torture doesn't have a 100% success rate, actually not even close.
Sorry, I haven't had my coffee yet.

Waterboarding has a huge success rate.
Get your coffee and return to the thread.

My point was simply that enough drugs and sensory overload, and some other techniques would either be enough to crack his brain and will, to possibly get info, or it would kill him which is also good.

I firmly believe the popular story is predominantly true.
I get chills thinking about how surreal it would have been to ride back in the helo with that body, or one of the few on board the Carl Vinson who witnessed the burial. Just amazing to think about.
