The side that uses children as suicide bombers isn't even human and doesn't bother me if they're treated harshly.

Strapping a kid with a bomb is slightly more twisted than shooting them with one on purpose.

No grown man would think such. They use their own people as both bomber and human shield
It's egregious compared to any humanity.

It could be argued that shooting them with the bomb remotely is more cowardly. At least you have to look at the kid to strap a bomb to it.
I don't see how you can say one is much worse than the other when the result is the kid gets blown up either way.

Not by grown ups who understand the difference between collateral damage to human shields and straight up murder using mentally challenged children as human bombs, because the adults are pussies.

now you are moving the goalposts to something different than seeing a child on the screen and pressing the button to hit it with a missile.
quote:
On 16 July 2014, during the military offensive in the Gaza Strip that Israel termed “Operation Protective Edge”, Israeli naval forces fired missiles that killed four children of the Bakr family – Ahed (10 years), Zakaria (10 years), Mohammed (11 years), and Ismail (10 years) – while they were playing soccer on Gaza City’s fishing beach. Six other civilians were also wounded in the missile attack, including four children from the same extended family.
“The testimonies reveal that there were no Israeli soldiers in the area and there was no immediate danger posed to anyone, and there was therefore no urgency in carrying out the attack. It was possible to have obtained further intelligence on the nature of the targets in order to verify whether they were combatants or not.”
neither side is innocent

Dems supporting Hamas is so strange to me. Can y’all get anything right? Supporting Hamas? God Lord.
Posted on 10/16/23 at 6:27 am to BBONDS25
I haven't seen any examples of Dems supporting Hamas. Even the braindead dem president is supporting Israel. I have seen a lot of republicans claiming democrats are supporting Hamas.

I have met many democrats who love America, are against illegal immigration, and against tearing down historical monuments.
Then those “many” sure are a very quiet bunch choosing to stay absolutely silent on these matters. It’s almost as though they don’t exist at all… or maybe we’ll start to hear quiet whispers now that some sense the political winds changing. How convenient.

They aren’t vocal at all. That’s the entire point. They’re silent, just like Tlaib when asked if Israeli lives matter to her, or if she condemns the murder of babies.

you might wanna look up what tacit support means.
saying Hamas method is slightly more evil than Israel's method of murdering children is not support. the only way you would think it is is if you think Israel is a bunch of heroes who have no responsibility in what is going on there

Its very on brand for leftist to support...
1) Perpetual losers
2) Men who hide behind the bodies of women and children
3) People who are highly prejudicial and have a goal of eliminating Jews in the region.
But I bet you support Multiculturalism.

The hallmark of Progressivism. Someones always holding them down, nothing is ever their fault.
They're stuck being a 10 year old forever.

i don't support any of these things unless by multiculturalism you mean America where we have a bunch of cultures blended together. Multiculturism has about a million definitions you can choose from though and I doubt anyone would support all of those definitions.
I'm anti groupthink, and would rather face harsh truths than take the easy/popular stance of "Israel good, Hamas evil" because that stance is basically having no stance at all besides patting yourself on the back.
Even America isn't pure good, we have done/continue to do a lot of fricked up shite that has caused some other countries to hate us.

Absolutely, but that nuance you folks love to talk about clears things up a bit.
I feel no guilt, I treat people like Ive been treated.

The people of the Gaza strip would probably feel the same way. I don't know how I would react if I shared a border with a country that had killed my family members/friends.
Before this recent conflict kicked off roughly 6,400 Palestinians and 300 Israelis had been killed in the ongoing violence since 2008 according to the UN.
It really is just an unmaintainable situation those 2 groups sharing borders. It seems impossible for them to just drop past grudges and live peacefully with that much history.
The only thing I'm certain of is Israel will win this conflict. Not sure what it will mean though, do they want to extend their borders more? it seems extending them will just make them harder to police.
