I thought this was kinda dumb but if it gets Bill Nye riled up I'm all for it.
Why did I laugh so hard at this?

Well, Bill Nye is right. Anyone that actually believes in Noah's Ark story should be declared legally insane.

Can I can a hand count here of which of you guys believe that Noah's Ark was like actually a real thing?
Everyone has a right to believe/think what they want. But I'd kind of like to know for future discussions on things like historical issues on the board.

Kentucky
What a shite hole. $100 million to pretend to live in a fairy tale.

control argument kinda befuddles me. Why would it be wrong to avoid the creation of a life? Is it just a sin of sex issue? Because otherwise any two fertile people who are choosing not to have sex when they could would be sinning
I know it sounds foreign because of how our culture is set up, but it is a sin because sex is viewed as a gift from God for two purposes: procreation and unity. By using birth control, you are in essence playing God and putting your will above His. It is a violation of God's natural plan for us to procreate. Now, I don't want it legislated as other sins aren't legislated. I just don't want to be forced to have to pay for other people to do it.
