Some life insurances don't require it. Mine didn't. A quick glance online shows some actually boast about not requiring one.
So still think they arent aware of it. If you go through one of these online co's seems pretty easy to pull off.

There's several posters here who know Brett Gerald out of Slaughter that killed 7 people in a DWI crash.

Yup, pretty terrible. Now with the restraining order he had to contact someone from the court before he could go to the house and be escorted but it was a shite show.
