Boss made work mandatory today in NWLA. Normally I have an hour commute. I left the house at 8:00am and am only 25 miles from the house. Still 35 miles to go. Have been in park on I20 for 30 minutes now.
Dumb. I would have taken a vaca day.

Just watched a few flakes fall at the YMCA off Perkins/Siegen
Found it very odd since nothing showing on radar. Almost didn't believe it at first

He’s finally caving and saying he thinks we get up to an inch of snow north of I-10

I'm assuming he heard from the NWS and changed his mind... just saying the timing is suspect.

Well this is from another wx forum:

There is a shortwave that crossed Mexico overnight from the Baja yesterday morning that is nearing Eagle Pass. That feature is adding some lift so expect precipitation to continue throughout the rest of the day.

When is the last time it snowed more than once in south La in the same meteorological winter? This makes round 3 for some.

Last time there was measurable snow more than one day apart in one meteorological winter:

Didn't we get snow/ice multiple times in a 2 week period in 2014?
