I never understood the ‘Joy’ bit but that happened a lot. I enjoyed MadMen but they did a terrible job introducing plots that never developed or just ended abruptly with zero closure.

That was Don and his character. Gets himself into situations with no hope of closure, resolution, or a future. All he can do is walk away.

Bethany Van Nuys (Anna Camp) is a contender. She blew Don in a cab on the way home from dinner.

Betty was an amazing TV character whereas Meagan was awkward.

we all say that, but those people came from a different world. Pete had a family lineage that mattered to those upper crust people. If you remember, Pete's family, on his mother's side, had owned a lot of land north of Central Park in generations prior.

Maybe it was a different time, when women knew their place...but I always thought one of these women would be some phyco stalker that put Don’s life in a whirlwind. But nope, ol’ Draper wiped his hands clean and walked away every time with zero push back.

Women didn’t stalk, the men did. And beat them or killed them.

You didn't understand the episode? I mean Weiner was pretty notorious for throwing standalone episodes out there.
