There wasn’t near the competition in the field back when Nicklaus played compared to today.

And today he was the 2nd oldest to ever win one. The first one he's won in over a decade. I don't think he'll win 3 more. Father time is undefeated brother.

He's the 2nd oldest to ever win the Masters. Overall, there are 10 other players that won MAJORS were older than Tiger Woods was when he won yesterday. And that doesn't include Tom Watson forcing a playoff in the British Open at age 59. Father time may be undefeated but, like it or not, sports training and sports medicine has definitely moved the needle.

Update:

A Wisconsin man who bet $85,000 on Tiger Woods to win the Masters was handed a check for $1.275 million by bookmaker William Hill on Monday. A day after Woods came from behind to win his first major title in 11 years, a video circulating online showed James Adducci picking up his check at SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. The 39-year-old told Golf Digest that the 14-1 bet was his first sports wager. The stockbroker, who works from home, said he planned to spend the winnings on home improvements and paying off debts while investing the rest.

OK, OT,figure out something about this James Adducci guy.

He will go broke. I’ll bet on that. No smart investor puts 85k on tiger regardless of what the outcome was. Was a stupid bet and he will try it again and lose it all.

He’s the 39-year-old Wisconsin day trader who had a premonition so strong that Tiger Woods was going to win the Masters that he made his first sports bet — a whopping $85,000 in cash at 14-1 odds. “It wasn’t about the odds for me,” James Adducci told VSiN’s Brent Musburger on “My Guys in the Desert.” “My reasons for thinking that he was going to win were more personal, about where he is at in his career and his life.”

He's a day trader. Yes, he will blow this in little time.
