I've always found Andy Griffith's folksy explanations of Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet to be pretty humorous...

Julius Caesar is my favorite. I love the brutal politics set amongst war. Plus, there are some extremely dope lines in that play.

Sympathy for the Devil.
That and everyone currently think of Richard as the scheming Hunchback, when it was most likely just a smear job done by Shakespeare himself.

If you are ever in south Texas in the summer UT students put on a couple or 3 plays at Winedale.
I went one year, was pretty good, only thing I recall is the barefoot folks are "rustics".
