When I moved to Baton Rouge from Arkansas, my Anytime Fitness membership was going to cost $100/month for my wife and me instead of the combined $35/month I paid in Arkansas. Each Anytime is independently owned so they charge whatever they want. I go to Planet Fitness now. The gym is very nice, people are friendly, and its open 24 hrs a day. Plus they have nice amenities that Anytime doesn't offer.

living off of siegen
YMCA off siegen is nice if you can rationalize paying 60$/month for a gym membership

Goudeau's on Perkins is good. It's not coed but that's sort of a plus trading off cardio machines for freeweights and Hammer Strength machines. Nice sauna too.
