Best bio cleaner for jetted jacuzzi bath tubs?

We would fill up the tub as usual, then use a bunch of chlorox and Cascade dishwasher detergent (as we were told by someone who services these tubs). Then let the jacuzzi run for about 1/2 hour, then drain.

Jacuzzi tubs are more trouble than they are worth, in my opinion. We got rid of ours during a recent master bath renovation.

This, then flush it out with another tub full of clean water.

We fixing to rip ours out. I can't use it, nor the wife. So we use it without running the jets.

I thought the bleach dries out the hoses and makes them rot.
