I enjoy that yall are so secure about not being in a fraternity that you have to remind everyone repeatedly in threads that don't concern you

Is there a future for fraternities or is this a dying culture?

Is there a culture for fraternities? Absolutely, they are still as popular among college kids as ever.

Is there a future? Good question. Colleges are cracking down on anything these days. And there is certainly some justification for that.

Honest question, what you plan on majoring in?

It seems like the Frats don't go along the lines on majors and where you from as much as they used to, but it can give you an idea of a good frat for you.

Engineers used to go SAE it seemed back in the early 2000's. They were a well rounded bunch.

May want to specify what university. We didn't get back on campus until 2005 at LSU

I wouldn't say that. The Greek system ran shite on campus in the eighties at LSU. They seem a lot less relevant now, from my observation. It runs in cycles, they reached a high water mark in the fifties and sixties, lost popularity in the seventies, and had a resurgence in the eighties. It could happen again, but right now, they've receded somewhat.

You're SAE? I would have never guessed you were in a frat.

Don't know much about the LSU Sigma Chi's, but mad props for stepping up to the plate on behalf of their brother who committed suicide by helping raise money to start Sigma Chi's Lifeline program nationally to educate every chapter about mental health and suicide prevention. That's pretty cool coming from someone who has seen these issues firsthand.
