In fairness, new Jeeps aren't that far off.

Clean, low mileage Wagoneers have been coming out the woodwork for the last few years.

The vintage SUVs are the next wave. As boomer money goes away, muscle cars will become cheaper. There were minimal performance cars (or cars in general) worth a shite in the 70s and 80s.

Range Rover Classics and D90/110s will be Tier 1. Land Cruiser 60 and 80s are tier 2. Wagoneers, CJ/YJ/TJ, Broncos, Blazers are Tier 3.

Broncos took off before the Wagoneers, but they are catching up fast. This Jeep is owned by a friend of mine. Very rare, half year production model. I hope it spikes at the end, for him.

He picked the right site. A great place to have people bid up a mediocre example of any model.
