Couch 2 5K. Continue dieting. You’ll be amazed as to how much better you’ll feel.

Running is boring and it's about to be a million degrees outside

Yea
Intermittent fasting worked for me. Revered it completely. Went from 270 to 210
I’m on no meds and feel good.
I drink black coffee in the morning. Eat around noon and stop eating at 8pm.
Eat smart. Be active. Stay away from sugar.

Anyone else have stories of success beating the big D?

Yeah. I started out on metformin but I was already taking BP meds and really didn't want to be on meds for life before I turned 40. I overhauled my diet, quit drinking, and dropped down from 260 to 145 over the course of around nine months and was able to come off both meds in the first three weeks.

It is. I find it helps me clear my head and shake off stress.

That's why you run in the morning.

As far as calorie burn, there aren't many things better than running. Look at the people that participate in the 'running' sports like basketball or soccer. Hard to be overweight in those activities.
