Way more than “a few” plant baws. If you usually only cross the bridge during non-peak traffic hours, I can certainly see why you would get the impression that it’s all trucks. That is not the case in the morning and afternoon rush hours when most of the congestion typically occurs.

Another thing to consider - the local traffic is not just people commuting in their personal vehicles. There is also a shitload of local commercial vehicle traffic (e.g. freight, deliveries, etc.) between businesses on the east side and plants on the west side of the river.
