I-10 westbound:
Roadway reduced to two lanes.
Between Exit 157A: Perkins Road and Exit 156B: Dalrymple Drive (Baton Rouge).

The roadway is reduced to two lanes due to an accident.

Now 4 days in a row.

fricking hate Baton Rouge drivers.

Drive in a straight line at a constant speed while occasionally having to veer left or right. Why is it so fricking difficult for people to do this without causing a backup every damn day.

Start issuing hefty fines if you are the cause of an accident, and multiply that already hefty fine by the number of miles your accident backs up traffic.

Post 2 officers on each side of the roadway where the accident occurred and their sole purpose is to issue hefty fines for rubberneckers who further cause traffic congestion issues.

This shite is getting out of hand.

It took me an hour to travel 8 miles in Houston 4/5 days this week. This isn't just a Baton Rouge problem. Crappy infrastructure is crappy infrastructure.

18 wheeler

Until there is a way to force these bozos onto an alternate route, this will keep happening. We have the same issue here in Austin....interstate that's packed with 18 wheelers runs through the center of town.

I'm sure cellphones have a significant role in this.
