The seating at movie tavern in Covington is wayy better than the pics above. Big leather chairs with a ton of leg room. Only about 10 chairs per row. Each chair has it's own tray that swings in and out.

The new Alamo drafthouses they build are set up a bit different. Rather then one long table per row, each two seats have there own table in the middle and they are spaced out more, The chairs are nicer and some recline. (It's more inline with iPic and movie house). We have all three types in Austin and its hard to choose which one to go to. Movie house and Ipic are more expensive overall, but they are all more expensive then Cinemark.
Over all it will be the best movie going experience in Baton Rouge. You do pay a bit of a premium though compared to a regular theatre but to me that keeps the riff raft out.

I don't really care about the eating part, but I do like the option to drink
Shreveport has an indie theater that has a restaurant upstairs. You can bring drinks with you to the theater, which is cool. No food though.

How much does it cost to go to a movie in this joint?

$10 For a regular ticket at the Covington Movie tavern . $7.50 matinee. A lil more than that for 3D or MTX. Food prices aren't TOO bad either but it all adds up.

The food and service is okay. The films that each theatre presents is kind of hit and miss.

What are you talking about? They show new movies like a regular theater and also have special events.
You BR peeps will love this place. Like others have said, you will not want to ever go to another theater. The downside is that you need to reserve seats / buy tickets a day or two in advance for new movies, especially on weekends. Don't expect to be able to walk up and buy a ticket for a show on a Friday.
Their food is above average. Some of their stuff is very good, some is ok. Their tap list is good.

It's going in Rouzan.
I feel like I've been living under a rock. Just looked up what Rouzan is and it looks incredible.

Confirmed via @drafthouse; their official instagram.
My wife & I spdcifically go out of our way to see movies at the Alamo at Vintage Park in Houston. I joined their "Beer Passport" club ($30 to start, $15 to renew every year) that includes a ceramic stein that holds 1.5 pints of beer but they charge you regular price for one pint. Also includes a booklet that gets you different "prizes" after certain beer numbers drank; there are specific discounts on food, etc. associated with the club.
They have rotating craft beers in place specified by seasons or events.
We spend about $60-80 per outing but it is no more than I would spend going to a bar with my wife after dinner/drinks.

I would have to pee pee during the movie. I won't be patronizing.
