Doesn't seem too exact and will be challenged in court.

Has always worked out great. They send me 3 scary notices that I will be sent to collections and my credit ruined. Nothing happens.

Many toll roads do this. There's a timestamp and the booth you entered at printed on the ticket or their computers ping your fast pass and record the information. When you get off, if you didn't spend enough time on the tollroad to get from where you came from without speeding, they ping you.

Not in DFW. The messaging system would meltdown in one day.

It only takes one wreck to frick everything up for hours on end. I'm sure you're an excellent driver though.

The bridge is in two parishes. If I'm speeding in one jurisdiction, can the other give me a ticket? Seems like a big assumption that you actually broke a law where you are getting the ticket.

Why not just do this between every exit on the interstate?

Well ummm, because every exit on the interstate doesn’t have a disproportionate amount of pileups with limited ways for emergency services to access the accident.
That’s just for starters.
Are you serious with this?

And yet again, no mention of the biggest problem: semis using the left lane to elephant race other semis.

IMO the limits put in place actually cause more wrecks than they prevent. I don't remember all these frequent basin wrecks happening prior to trucks being limited to the left lane and the speed limits being staggered.
