About 15 years ago, a bartender dropped a roofie into a girl's drink at a bar. The drink happened to be for me. So I finish the drink and immediately realize something isn't right. I was a fairly accomplished drinker at the time, and one drink in was smashed.
I was also on aderall. Told her. Told my friends. Figured out what happened. Told owner of the bar. He didn't call the cops, but he did beat the guy until he had to call the paramedics.
The girl ended up sleeping with me...as a sort of thank you for "saving" her. Wierd part, I don't remember anything after 9 pm.
Was I raped? God no. Drunk me probably had the time of his life.

'm not an SJW you dumbass. Just bc we have differing opinions and I think women should be able to wear what they want without getting molested doesn't mean I'm a snowflake.
Your inability to reason marks you as a SJW.
I don’t know how many times it must be explained, that no one thinks women shouldn’t be able to wear what they want. Just like no one thinks a person should be robbed for merely walking through the ghetto at night.
But maybe not walking through the ghetto at night is a smart way to reduce the risk of being mugged?
Again, tell my why jails and prisons don’t allow women to show up in string bikinis.

Yes and you don't understand society at all
Women can't pick wanted attention and ban unwanted attention, neither can any person on the planet. There are bad people out there and always will
You should be able to walk the streets flashing thousands of dollars and not expect trouble, right?

I wouldn't wish thit on anybody. I'm going to have a hard time eating for the rest of the day.
Honestly had no idea the human body could make that kinda shape that "This is Us" thing has.

You were drinking in a bar whenever you were a sophomore/junior in high school?

I had a similar situation to what some people on Reddit had. I think I even posted about it here years ago when it happened and the general consensus was the chick raped me
You think you did?

It’s not about blaming the victim, it’s about trying to prevent sexual assaults from happening. There are bad people in this world.
First off your analogies are idiotic
quote:
How about you go stroll through the projects at night? After all, you should be able to do so without fear of being mugged.
Why must a cop carry a gun? The citizenry shouldn’t be dangerous to him.
Why do we have to wear seat belts? Other drivers should just drive safely.
Women raped aren't always happening in high crime areas which is your first analogy.
Your second analogy...well I just don't even know what to say the too aren't remotely related
and the third involves safety in a dangerous device in which collisions are often unavoidable.
The whole point of the victim blaming needing to stop is that dressing modestly will not reduce or stop rapes from happening. There are no people out there that thought well I didn't plan on raping anyone today but they just looked so sexy in that outfit. Using that argument sets the wrong narrative.
That's like saying well they wouldn't have died from a gunshot wound to the chest if they were wearing body armor. It's totally their fault.

Saying that dressing like a hooker will draw unwanted attention is not victim blaming no matter how many times you read it on Tumblr

Listen man, you put feed in the feeder and you can't choose which hogs come to the trough.
If you're going to dress like a hooker, make sure you're in well populated, well lit areas. This isn't victim blaming, it's risk management.

again one has nothing to do with the other. In cases where there have been a serial rapist the police never issued a warning saying "Hey there is a serial rapist in this area, you should avoid the area, unless you dress modestly in which case you should be fine"

The overwhelming number of sexual assaults are carried out by acquaintances or "dates" and not serial rapists.

Dude is a trip, but I’ve always liked him. But, definitely a trip.

We need to clarify our vocabulary here...a man being "raped" brings to mind a "Lawrence of Arabia" or a Zed/Gimp type situation- even if the perp is a woman, sounds like something went in thru the
out-doh...without a safe word.
What Bam and the Redditors are describing can more aptly be phrased as
"She sucker-fricked me."

regardless you honestly believe if they were wearing a turtle neck and long dress they wouldn't have been raped?
And whether you think that is true or not you missing the point entirely. You are legitimizing the rape to a certain extent. And you are removing blame for the piece of crap individual that committed the rape.
If dude A rapes a sober girl dressed modestly
and dude B rapes a drunk girl dressed with a low cut shirt and a mini skirt
dude A didn't committ a worse crime than dude B and should be punished harsher. When you victim blame that is the road your are going down.
