Automotive question for rural OTers

We may be losing our town's only dealership in the coming year. For those of you who've bought a vehicle out of town, how much of a hassle is working with an out of area dealership re: warranty work, etc? Will they usually pick it up and bring it back? TIA

I only ever remember bringing a vehicle back to the dealer one time in my life for anything...and that time, I was able to drive it in and they gave me a loaner until it was fixed, so it has never been a problem at all for me....

Lost 2 out of 3 major dealerships in our little borough. No hassles on repairs and warranty work but no pick up or delivery service.

Cenla. The closest other dealerships are anywhere from 25-50 miles away.

Doubt it, maybe for a high end brand. Courtesy will buy your dealership out soon enough.

I would ask but I'd bet a lot would come pick it up and bring it back. I deal with a few around BR and they will do it or have offered. I've just never taken them up on it. I've had Treads and Care bring me home a couple times.
I haven't bought a vehicle in LA in a decade and if it is warranty work I have no problems with the dealer. Might not jump on it if a regular is in front of me but I've never noticed.
